The course is approximately 52 miles with 9,300 feet of elevation gain

1. Up Black Star to the Main Divide
2. North to Sierra Peak
3. Turn back on the Main Divide
4. Proceed on the Main Divide to and down the Silverado Trail (Motorway) to Aid Station #1
5. Up Maple Springs to the Main Divide and up to Santiago Peak and aid station #2
6. Down the Main Divide to the Holy Jim Trail
7. Down the Holy Jim to Trabuco Creek Road
8. Out Trabuco Creek Road to the Parker Ranch (1/4 mile from Trabuco Canyon Road)
